A Return to Houston
Addie D’Agostino returned to Houston after attending culinary school in NYC (which culinary school I think we should name). She had a vision to open a quaint neighborhood pantry of sorts featuring fine, familiar foods ideal for lunches, pantry staples, and snacks using the honed techniques of a professional chef. 2011
A Love Story
This chance encounter with an old friend sparked the love story behind Relish. Addie needed a chef, and Dustin had serious catering chef experience. They fell in love and developed a deeper love of food. Together, they opened Relish Fine Foods.
2016
A Very Busy Year
Over the next 4 years, Addie & Dustin worked hard, played hard, and had A LOT of fun building a business. They knew they wanted to take their next steps personally and professionally, so they got married, opened Relish Restaurant & Bar in River Oaks, and got pregnant!
2020
A Blessing in Disguise
The restaurant bomb hit the entire world at once. Everything stopped, and as business owners the fear creeped in. However, Addie & Dustin used this slow time to grow (baby #2!) and lean in together as a family, enjoying the quality time together that had become rare over the past several years of restaurant growth.

We are in our Stride
Relish Restaurant & Bar boomed when the world re-opened. We used the incredible momentum given to us by our beloved community to refresh, re-establish, and evolve internally and externally. We are more consistent, efficient, and resilient than ever before. The Relish Family is alive and growing every day.
